In reply to DC’s mammoth total, MIE didn’t get off to a good start and lost three wickets with just 26 runs on the board. Pollard changed gears and scored a quickfire 86 off just 38 balls, but the efforts went in vain as his team lost the match by 16 runs. Najibullah Zadran Also played a flamboyant inning of 30 runs off 9 balls, but unfortunately had to face defeat.
On the other hand, hazrat luqman Two wickets for DC and conceded just 24 runs in their quota of four overs. Powell also took a wicket and was named ‘Player of the Match’ for his exceptional all-round performance.
