An active presence on social media and a supportive sister, Shahneel had commented on an Instagram post in which Shubman celebrated his second IPL century, expressing her happiness with the words, “My Baby.” However, this seemingly innocent act soon became a catalyst for online hate. Upset RCB fans even went to the extent of circulating Shahneel’s Instagram account among various groups, increasing the level of hatred and verbal abuse.
Trolls target former Indian cricketers Shubman and Shahneel Pragyan Ojha Took to Twitter and condemned the actions of the RCB fans.

In the latest development, Shubman and Shahneel have found a supporter in the Delhi Commissioner for Women (DCW) chief. swati maliwal,
Maliwal has promised appropriate action against those who abuse Shahneel online.
“It is extremely shameful to see trollers abusing #ShubhmanGill’s sister because the team they follow loses a match. Earlier we had initiated action against people abusing #ViratKohli’s daughter. DCW will take action against all those who have abused Gill’s sister as well. It won’t be tolerated.’ tweeted the DCW chief.
