Cincinnati Bengals Has continued to get the most out of mid-round picks in recent years.
fresh evidence? The NFL released its list of performance-based salary distributions for the 2022 season and fourth-round rookie Cordell Volson almost made headlines.
Volson, who moved to left guard after winning the Battle of Camp and started every game, finished second on the list, earning an additional $854,407. This placed him behind only Philadelphia Eagles safety Marcus Epos, the sixth rounder in 2019.
A little lower down the list, Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson, who was a third-rounder in 2020, earned himself an additional $669,729 as part of the franchise’s strongest linebacker core in a long time.
