Cincinnati Bengals Fans were quite intrigued by his somewhat surprising mediocrity and high upside in the mid-rounds of the draft for Princeton wideout Andrei Iosivas.
Iosivas has done nothing but impress the people in the building since arriving, paying particular attention to Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins and telling them they work well together.
“I really take Ja’Marr and T’s advice very seriously and criticize myself harshly,” Iosivas said, according to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. “Every time I’m watching film, I look at what the tee tells me and try to repeat that exercise the next day or so.”
Given his frame and game, coaches have told Iosivas to model his game more on Higgins than Chase, but he still has great things to say about the No. 1: “He really I’m good in. They both have taken me under their wings.
Like fellow rookie wideout Charlie Jones, Iosivas will have to make his mark in more ways than one to make the final roster. But early reviews of rookie camp and workouts suggest he’s doing all the right things that should enable him to make the roster, if not an instant impact.
