Chiefs 2022 Schedule Preview, Week 12: Rams

Matthew Stafford received an anti-inflammatory injection in his elbow in March and hasn’t thrown a pass this season. However, during his first practice at training camp, Stafford took part in all passing drills, albeit on a pitch count. Stafford should be able to finish the rust and get things back in flow by the time the regular season resumes, but the Rams will remain on alert for potential setbacks.

Jalen Ramsey has not yet been cleared for full participation in the exercise, but may participate in “over the neck exercises”. He is expected to be available by week 1, but like Stafford, Rams will proceed cautiously with Ramsey. With Ramsey sidelined, it will give much-needed work to the rest of the Rams’ inexperienced cornerback group.

The right flank of the Rams’ offensive line is for capture guard and tackle. Rookie Logan Bruce will be in the mix for both locations, depending on which position he plays best. Look to Coleman Shelton to position your side for the perfect tackle spot.

While the center of the Rams’ defense is set with Donald and Wagner, Edge Rusher is questioned. Outside linebacker Leonard Floyd is a solid player, but doesn’t have much to complement. Justin Hollins, Terrell Lewis and Chris Garrett will compete to start opposite Floyd, neither of whom is very proven. Keep an eye on the Rams to become a potential player in the sideline market by trade or free agency.
