With Super Bowl LVI coming up, you probably won’t be hearing much about the Washington Sale over the next two weeks. The NFL likes to focus on the big game, especially next week.
However, on Sunday, Jay Glazer of Fox Sports was answering questions from fans and it’s no surprise that one of the questions Glazer was asked was about the sale of the Commanders. Remember, Glazer was the first to report the timeline for the potential Washington sale back in November.
What was the latest from Glazer regarding the sale of Commanders?
“As soon as possible,” said Glazer. “All this time, they wanted to do something where they could basically vote at the March NFL owner’s meetings. Where all the owners could vote. And the sale would have to be agreed upon before that after it became official. So you The latest I’m seeing is late March.

Nothing new there. This is in line with what Finlay said two weeks ago. While Washington would like things to settle ahead of the start of the new league year on March 15, he always seemed a bit overly optimistic.
Glazer is one of the more respected NFL reporters, and he has always maintained this timeline, which bodes well for the sale becoming official in March.
