Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins appeared on the “I Am Athlete” podcast with former NFL receivers Brandon Marshall and Ashley Nicole Moss.
Among the many things they discussed, Hopkins was asked which quarterback he would like to have as a teammate on another team if given the choice.
He named five:
- Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills
- Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles
- Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs
- Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens
- Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers
Kyler Murray is notably absent but with good reason. One, Murray won’t be on his next team. Also, Murray is off the board as he returns from injury.
Hopkins could not be replaced on a team with Murray. He would have no reason to mention her in that context.
All are great quarterbacks.
