For the second time this week, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed one of the Los Angeles Rams’ free agents. First it was Baker Mayfield and now Greg Gaines is headed to Tampa Bay.
According to Tom Pellicero, Gaines has agreed to a deal with the Buccaneers. The terms of the contract have not yet been disclosed.
In four years with the Rams, Goins has played in 59 games and made 25 starts, including 16 games and 12 starts in 2022. He has 10.5 career sacks in the NFL, with 8.5 of those coming in the last two years.
He originally joined the Rams as a fourth-round pick in 2019 and worked his way into the starting role at nose tackle in 2021 after Sebastian Joseph-Day was injured and eventually moved to the offense last in free agency.
