Taper and Sports Entertainment is at number 19. With the power of the Panthers and Charlotte FC, Tepper’s empire is estimated at $4.55 billion.

Tepper, whose net worth was estimated at $16.7 billion on the Forbes World’s Billionaires list in 2022, bought the Panthers in 2018 for a then-NFL record $2.275 billion. As of August, they were valued at $3.6 billion.

The former hedge fund veteran then founded Charlotte FC in December of 2019. Their footy team sits on $570 million as of September – almost double what they made from their inaugural season.
